The Koolbarrdi Artists who work at the True Blue Gallery in Fremantle have

created art glass for several years. Neta Knapp (featured above) has recently

produced art glass panels, coolamons, boomerangs, shields and digging

sticks as well as pendants. An exhibition of Neta's art glass will be featured

at True Blue Gallery during NAIDOC Week 2010 (July). The Koolbarrdi Artists

produce art glass awards, trophies and collectable art glass all available at

the True Blue Gallery Fremantle and Broome galleries.

Annete Kent introduced fused art glass to the remote Mimili Maku Art Centre in

northern South Australia. The artists produced stunning platters,

coasters and jewellery depicting their stories.

Roebourne Art Group Art Glass

Annette Kent has been working with the Roebourne Art Group over several
months teaching the artists fused art glass. The artists have created colourful
works depicting their Dreamtime stories in small, medium and large art panels.
An exhibition of their art glass and paintings is being held in
Fremantle from 21 May 2010.
